Position: Partnerships Manager
Position Overview: Outdoor-based creative agency, WHEELIE, seeks a self-motivated Partnerships Manager to work with senior account managers and creative team. This position includes managing existing accounts as well as building partnerships to develop new agency relationships and work agreements. The primary role of this position is to support client projects in a professional, organized manner as well as to initiate and establish relationships, develop partnerships, and grow revenue. You will be highly involved with the accounts you manage and interact with the creative team and client to meet deadlines, manage budgets, and client expectations. Our clients are typically in the outdoor industry, so relationships and experience in the outdoor, bike, and action sports industries are extremely relevant. Our dream candidate for our new Partnerships Manager is a person for the people. This person would have an awesome, friendly personality met with a type-A, detail-oriented mindset. This person can also talk about creative work with the nuanced ability to honor and articulate the level of strategy, expertise, and love that our creative team puts into it. This person is solutions-oriented and excellent at critical thinking. One day you might be booking a helicopter for a film project and the next you may be figuring out how to help the creative team dress animals in outdoor gear for a commercial. You might spend an entire morning brainstorming and reviewing work agreements with clients, where everyone walks away feeling heard, appreciated, and stoked, and your afternoon may consist of managing budgets and working with our senior team on the most efficient way to stay within budget while also hooking the client up with a little extra Wheelie magic. This position may be fully remote as long as the WiFi is predictable and this person is able to attend meetings based on client and agency needs. (Monday-Thurs 8:30-5pm-- that’s right: we are closed on Fridays.) If remote, this position will require travel to integrate with our Whitefish-based team periodically for the purpose of company culture and deeper understanding of creative services/customer service.
