By Amanda Guy--Our Designer CAMBER OUTDOORS!
Last Thursday, Wheelie was extremely proud to host the first ever Montana Camber Exchange through Camber Outdoors, an organization dedicated to encouraging women's leadership from the backcountry to the boardroom. After several weeks of planning and preparations, the event finally arrived, and we packed the lawn with some badass ladies and a few supporting fellas for an evening of networking, eating, drinking, and speeches. These like-minded individuals were able to gather, meet new people, and discuss their passion for business in the outdoor industry. Formerly knows as the Outdoor Industries Women's Coalition (OIWC), Camber Outdoors was founded 1996 to empower and encourage women in the active-outdoors industry.

by Amanda Guy -- Our Designer As most of you may know, for the last few years, Lisa has put together a really fun wall calendar filled with bicycle artwork and Wheelie Creative branding.
Recently Lisa went to the 2016 OR Conference in Salt Lake City and was pleased to hear from several companies that, "I already know you! We have your calendar hanging in our office." How awesome is that?! By Amanda Guy - Our Designer Yep! It's Friday, and you know what that means???? BLOG TIME!
This week has been nothing short of soggy, as the title implies, with all the rain, and we are all getting a little stir crazy and ready to be outside to enjoy the long weekend. (Hopefully we have a little sunshine here and there over the next three days!) But I'm getting off topic here, I'm sure you'd rather just hear about what has been happening at the office this week while we've all been seeking shelter from the rain. Well let me enlighten you! By Amanda Guy, our trusty designer Well it's officially the end of Courtney's second week here as our new project manager and she's pretty much learned all that there is to really know about me. Basically, when it comes down to it, I love my family, Star Wars, and Bacon. (Although, I haven't had Bacon in like 27 days! But I'm almost done with my cleanse. YIPPEE!)
Okay, back to the fact that it's the end of Courtney's second week at Wheelie. So she's been here long enough now to hear me use a Star Wars reference every day, if not twice a day, and now that she really understands how I feel about the movies, she really understands why this week was so much fun for me on the design front. By Amanda Guy - Our Designer Happy Friday once again Wheel Heads! I hope you're ready for another round of my Wheelie updates this week. I have a lot to talk about as far as projects go and how the week has panned out for us here at the Wheelie HQ. From video shoots to team meetings, we've had a very fun and busy week. We've updated even more of the office and are preparing for the Spring months and mountain biking season, which has been here all along, but it's officially time to get in gear and start pedaling if you haven't started already. We're basically firing on all cylinders right now and cannot wait for the months ahead.
By Amanda Guy, Designer Happy Friday Wheel Heads! Thanks for stopping by for another round of A Wheelie__Fill in the blank__Week.
This week has been nothing short of crazy and full of fun moments. We definitely have a few coals in the fire here at the WheelHouse. In fact, we had to have a special three hour meeting this week to go over everything in detail to make sure we're on track. Especially after moving to a new office, we don't want things to fall through the cracks, so we're getting extremely organized and getting that awesome huge yard of ours cleaned up for some summer bike-in movie nights. (woot!) Amanda Guy Wow! Yet another week has flown by here at the Wheelie HQ, and yes, still in our old space. I know how last week we were all like, "Oh Em Gee Guys! This is our last week at the old office," but now we're like "Psych!"
Turns out there was a lot that needed to be done before we could bust a move over to the new office. Walls needed torn down, paint needed thrown up, and we still had to work on projects like the move wasn't even happening. by Amanda Guy Well it's that time of week again! Friday...well Wednesday, but for most of the country, it's somewhat like a Friday, and we're trying to wrap up things here at the Wheelie HQ before heading off for the Holiday weekend with friends and family. It's been a crazy month so far, and with a few short days left until December hits, we've been looking back on the last 11 months of 2015 and thinking about everything that's happened here since ringing in the New Year.
by Amanda Guy Hey Everyone! Welcome back, and Happy Monday.
We've had a very busy week here at the office, well a very awesome and busy couple of months. Within the craziness, we've done a lot of branding and logo development for new and existing businesses. We've also had a few meetings with tentative new clients specifically about branding. Why do you think it's important to brand your business? Maybe you don't think it's important, but that's what this whole post is about-- If branding is not important to you then it needs to be and here's why: By Amanda Guy Hey Everyone! Wow, it has been a few weeks since my last post, and I feel like it's high time that I got back at this Blog Business. Things have been crazy here at the Wheelie HQ, but crazy in a great way! All of us are working hard on several projects throughout Montana and out of state right now, and we could not be happier about it. We are also extremely happy to announce the newest addition to Wheelie Creative as of this week, Eddy, the new CCO - aka Chief Cuddle Officer! (But more about that lil fella later)
By: Amanda Guy I want to start off this post with going back to Last Friday and talking a little bit about Wheelie and the adventures we had at the Whitefish Trails Hootenanny! First of all, a big shout out to Carla, Heidi and Alan for having us participate. We had mentioned a couple of months ago that would like to do a photo booth to benefit the trails. Needless to say it was an adventure, and a rocking good time.
By: Amanda Guy This has been one of the crazy weeks where we find ourselves all sitting in the office today going, "Where the hell did the last 4 days go? How is it already Friday?" Which in our line of work just means we're doing something right because of how busy we are. But this week for my round of A Wheelie__Fill in the Blank__ Week, I don't want to get too into the projects we're working on. No, this week I want to post about Lisa Slagle.
By Amanda Guy Let me just start off by saying TGIF! Welcome back readers, fans, and friends. It's time again for my weekly blog post and I've been racking my brain on what all to cover in this week's article. So many things have happened and the week still isn't quite over. I've had an interesting week to say the least but I think overall I'd like to cover Podcasts and why you should listen to them.
However, the Wheelie Crew and myself didn't just work on the podcast all this week, I mean we conducted three more awesome interviews and have two episodes already lined up for release in the next couple of weeks, but we had a lot of other coals on the fire as well with some really fun client work involving ad creations, logo developments, web design, and infographic creations. But the main thing that I feel needs to be addressed is this podcasting business. By: Amanda Guy It's only Thursday, but as the Wheelie Crew will be taking off on Friday for the Holiday Weekend, I felt I needed to get my weekly blog post up. I'm sure many of your are extremely excited for this weekend, even if fireworks are not allowed this year. Hopefully you have amazing, fun, and adventurous weekends planned with Family and your best friends. But hang in there for one more day and enjoy another round of A Wheelie__Fill in the blank__week!
This week started off normal. We had our weekly Staff Meeting on Monday morning and discussed all the projects we needed to address for the short work week. Our meeting, as always, was pretty fun and we accomplished a lot right off the bat. With our first podcast ready to be uploaded to iTunes and liquor labels in the works I found myself pretty damn stoked for the rest of the week. Why was I stoked for this? Well let me just tell you! By: Amanda Guy Hey everyone! Amanda here--I'm back and getting down to business at Wheelie pretty hard core this week. I am shocked how quickly the last two weeks went by while I was on vacation. I went on a really fun Mother & Daughter trip with my Momma to Minnesota to visit some family and explore the North Shore of Lake Superior. After two weeks of driving 2800 miles, I was pretty excited to be home, but sad to have my vacation end with my Mom.
I've never had a job that I got home from vacation and was super stoked to come back to work, so that is a great feeling. We have so much fun at the office, and all the projects we have going on right now are a total blast! |
