We are nearing the end of one the most exciting times of the year. Yes, pumpkin-flavored stuff is awesome, but I'm talking about photography. If you are in search of a colorful variety of landscapes and scenes, it's hard to beat fall in Colorado.
There is no shortage of fall colors, boasting some of the best fall foliage in the country. Those colors really pop against the blue sky on a sunny, fall day. I love shooting during the fall for another reason: variety. The ever-changing weather in Colorado can be frustrating, but it is one of the most scenic times of the year to go get lost with a camera.
Cool, moody fall days give way to mega-flake snowfall. The next day it's 70 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, and the dusted Rocky Mountains glisten in the distance.
Before Winter steals a bunch of our leaves, get out there and take advantage of the full spectrum of seasonal scenery. Most leaves will be on the ground by week's end!
