By Amanda Guy -- Our Designer We have a Fall Intern!
Not only do we have Stephanie helping us out this Fall, but we are in full swing around here working on the Whitefish School District project, beginning new websites, branding projects, and starting a new video for our good friends over at The Wave. It seems like each year, around this time, things start really picking up around here. Folks are ready to put their ideas into action and that’s where we come in. For me this is great because for some reason I just really enjoy being swamped with design projects. I get to do something new every day. I also get to exercise some of my new found skills. A few weeks ago I talked a little about about continuing education and working in the design industry, and as of late, I’ve been able to use a lot of what I’ve been learning in new and old projects. I’m also happy to report that after launching the new website for our friends over at the Whitefish Bike Retreat, Cricket also asked us to help with some new design projects. We’ve been diving into all things biking around here and developing new merchandise designs, social media posts, and much more. You can expect some big things from the Retreat in the months to come. If you’re into biking and haven’t gone and checked it out, I highly recommend you add this destination to your bucket list. If you live nearby, get your bike in gear and head over there. It’s right on the Whitefish Trail! So not only can you grab a trail map, which we designed, but you can check out our newest branding project. What’s happening with our fearless leader these days?Lisa is on the road currently. She is back where Wheelie Creative all began and has been sending us updates on projects she worked on over the years from Crested Butte, CO. Office UpdateNot much is really changing at the office currently. Construction projects have come to a halt for the next few cool months. The leaves are changing out there and starting to fall all over the lawn, but things are looking good around here and we are still enjoying the new space a lot. Our ceiling and roof top looks wonderful and we’re halfway to a whole new paint job outside. Filming ProjectsI mentioned above that we are getting started on a fun video project for The Wave and this weekend is the Two Bear Full & Half Marathon, put on by The Wave. We’ll be there filming the whole race on Sunday. We work with Art a lot over at The Wave—we love Art—and he’s very passionate about the Two Bear Marathon. This is a marathon that The Wave would love to get more recognition on, so with this video project they are hoping to reach out to runners on a national level and make this race one for the books. For all of you hardcore runners out there, what is it about a race that draws you to it? Why do we choose the one marathon over another? With this video the goal is to hopefully draw even more runners to register for years to come. Dan and I actually already started on a little filming earlier this week. We scoped out a bit of the race track and created a plan of attach for Sunday. Put your smiles on runners, we’re going to capture every bit of this fun adventure and we want to see the stoke glistening in your eyes. On the HorizonWith all of the hard work the whole team has been putting in around here we are looking forward to the coming fourth quarter of this year. We have some awesome prospects on the horizon and are really excited to begin working with some new people, as well as continuing work with some of our favorite local clients.
The Wheelie portfolio is another project that will continue to work on as time allows. We want to be able to display all of the work we’ve been pumping out over the last year and beyond. Thanks for checking in with us this week and learning about what we’ve been up to. Don’t forget that Wheelie is still closed on Fridays as we are working 4-10 shifts. My advice for you all this weekend is to get out there and enjoy the sunshine while we still have it, ride your mountain bike during this magical time in the woods, and check out the Ski Cruncher for some new gear if you need it! Happy Pre-Friday everyone!
