by Amanda Guy -- Our Designer As most of you may know, for the last few years, Lisa has put together a really fun wall calendar filled with bicycle artwork and Wheelie Creative branding. Recently Lisa went to the 2016 OR Conference in Salt Lake City and was pleased to hear from several companies that, "I already know you! We have your calendar hanging in our office." How awesome is that?! THE 2017 CALENDAR IS IN THE WORKSThis year will be no different than previous years due to the popularity of the calendar. We’ve already begun work on the 2017 Calendar and all of the month’s designs. Dates have been laid out and pages have been completed. Soon we will send it off to print. There is always a common theme on our calendar, and that’s bicycles. Obviously with a name like “Wheelie Creative” and a logo that looks a lot like a bike chain, we must love biking right? You wouldn’t be wrong. There are always a few bikes hanging around in and outside of the office. We each have fun biking adventures planned every week, and it’s fun to display, in our most creative ways, just how much we love biking in our calendar. BIKING & WHEELIE WORKSpeaking of bicycles and whatnot, we’ve really been getting after it around here at the office when it comes to work and biking. This last Sunday, Dan and I filmed the Two Bear Marathon and Half Marathon for The Wave and Dan chased several racers on his mountain bike with the steady cam. We’ve also been working on a lot of visual content for The Whitefish Bike Retreat, giving us yet another chance to ride our bikes around on the Whitefish Trail to get “The Shot!” I would say that we each put quite a few miles on our assortment of bicycles each week, and this is why we dedicate 12 months of calendar pages to bicycle mania. FALL HAS ARRIVEDStaying close to the biking theme, I want to bring to your attention the lovely colors of Fall out there. Today is the first official day of Fall 2016, and the leaves are really starting to turn out there. Yesterday after work, Lisa and I grabbed our mountain bikes and hit the three mile loop out on the Whitefish Trail and had a great time ripping around through colors. Reds, yellows, oranges, and greens are everywhere. If you like to ride your bike, I highly suggest getting out there in the next few weeks while we still have some daylight after work and school hours. You will not be disappointed. COMING UP AT WHEELIENot much is changing around the office here, but we do have a new job posting. Recently Lisa added a job post for a Creative Agency Sales Rep. If you like Wheelie Creative, the creative industry, have experience in sales, are a self-starter and would love to rep our company, view the job listing on Malakye. (Asskickers only.) Thanks for swinging by the blog this week. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and gets out there on their bicycles. I cannot emphasize enough how much fun it is to ride your bike.
See you next time!
