by Amanda Guy Well it's that time of week again! Friday...well Wednesday, but for most of the country, it's somewhat like a Friday, and we're trying to wrap up things here at the Wheelie HQ before heading off for the Holiday weekend with friends and family. It's been a crazy month so far, and with a few short days left until December hits, we've been looking back on the last 11 months of 2015 and thinking about everything that's happened here since ringing in the New Year. First of all, can I just say MIND BLOWN! I cannot believe how fast this last year has gone, and with one month left in 2015, all of us here at Wheelie are more than happy to welcome 2016. There have been ups and downs, as there are with any business, but if you've been following us since January you know what we mean. Perhaps the best part of my year though, was accepting my Designer position here at Wheelie.
For those of you that don't know, I spent 4 months weighing the pros and cons of leaving Montana for another position I was offered in New Mexico. Really it wasn't much of a competition, as there were several more cons than pros, and let's face it, Montana is amazing and since I'm a fifth Generation Montanan, I think I chose wisely. The only two pros I could really muster up for New Mexico were the fact that I'd be living in and experiencing a completely new place, and I'd be close to Kurt and Maria Markus, two people very near and dear to me as I worked with them for five years after graduating from MSU. But it wasn't enough for me. I guess what this cheesy blog post is coming down to is the fact that I'm extremely thankful for where my life has taken me this last year. Although 2015 hasn't been one of my favorite years, it has brought many great things in my professional career. I finally think I've found my dream job. I like coming into the office everyday and working at my comically large desk with Design Pony by my side. I love hearing from our awesome clients on a daily basis and getting great feedback that helps us be the best at what we do. With tomorrow being Thanksgiving and all, I'd like to know what all of you are the most thankful for. Tomorrow is a day to give Thanks and be with those you love. If you are one of the many Service Men and Women out there that cannot be with your families, all of us at Wheelie Creative Inc. would like to tell you how thankful we are for you. To the Nurses, Doctors, Paramedics, Police, Firefighters, Sherifs, and several others out there that have to work on Holidays so the rest of us have a safe Holiday, Wheelie sends thanks to you as well. And now I'm going to go off on what I'm thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Be safe, and don't forget to wear your stretchy pants tomorrow!
